Volunteer experts will help you repair

• lamps • electronics • knife sharpening • lamps • furniture & picture frames • jewelry
Volunteers will have the right tools, but if possible, bring any needed parts. One item (or two knives) at a time. Sevice is first-come, first-served.
PorchFest 2024 - Saturday, June 15
PorchFest is back for 2024! Now seeking applicants from musicians, porch owners and volunteers!
Originated in Ithaca, NY, in 2007, towns of all sizes throughout the country have recreated this successful music festival in their own ways. The Rutherford Arts Committee is currently seeking homeowners willing to lend their porches and lawn, musicians to lend their talents and volunteers to lend their time to create a fantastic community event.

Green Team Paper Shred & Styrofoam Collection - Saturday, June 29, 9:00am-1:00pm
The Green Team & DPW will be holding a foam collection drive collecting clean, rigid, packaging polystyrene (styrofoam) at the the DPW, 220 Highland Cross.
The material collected will be recycled locally, please do not put styrofoam in your blue bins for recycling - it cannot be processed by our recycling vendor, and can only be recycled at specialty events like this one. Can’t make this event? Look out for our next collection in the summer in connection with Shred Day.
