The Borough provides a full range of services to its residents and businesses through the public works department. In addition to sanitation and recycling collections, road and sewer maintenance and tree services, the department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all Borough buildings and the upkeep of parks and athletic fields.

NEW HOLIDAY RECYCLING PICK-UP SCHEDULE
The Department of Public Works has revised the recycling pick-up schedule to accommodate residents when holidays occur.
Effective February 21, 2007, the revised schedule for RECYCLING ONLY will be as follows:

Heavy Trash |
- Picked up with household garbage twice a week. The equivalent of three (3) thirty (30) gallon barrels or three (3) bulky items (furniture, etc.) may be included with regular garbage each day. No heavy trash will be collected on weeks when there is only one collection because of a holiday. |
