Overnight Truck Permit |
For and in consideration of the amount paid, the Borough hereby agrees to provide the applicant with the use of a Borough dump truck which will be left in front of the applicant's property on the stated date. Applicant agrees that said truck will be loaded only with heavy trash generated by the resident at said premises. MATERIALS GENERATED FROM PRIVATE CONTRACTORS ARE NOT ALLOWED. (Building permits will be cross-referenced with truck permits) The applicant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the Borough harmless for and against any and all loss, cost, damage or expense arising out of use of the Borough vehicle. |

| - Do not overload truck, weight max is approximately 1.5 tons, fill no higher than side rails. Additional weight and cost to the Boro will be charged back to the resident.

| - Do not change the position of the tailgate
|
| - Do not place debris on tarp or load objects on the tailgate
|
| - Do not use ladders to load the truck(steel surfaces are slippery when wet)
|
| - Do not allow children on or near truck
|
| - Do not use truck tires as a step
|
| - To enter truck body use steps provided on the truck only
|
| - No Refrigerants (call for pick-up 201-460-3000 x4000)
|
| - No rocks, concrete or dirt (recyclable items) call for pick-up
|
| - No tires - No tree logs (recyclable items) call for pick-up
|
| - No cans of paint or other hazardous liquids
