PETITION IN OPPOSITION TO INCREASE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF AIRCRAFT LANDING AT TETERBORO AIRPORT

We the undersigned are writing to express our opposition to the Federal Aviation Administration's plans to increase the size and weight of aircraft that are able to land at Teterboro Airport (Federal Register Volume 68, Section 126 dated July 1, 2003) in New Jersey.

Any increase in the size of aircraft allowed to land at this small airport holds a potentially dangerous safety hazard as well as a devastating impact on the quality of life for the entire area and surrounding communities.

We urge you to please review and rescind this unacceptable and unsafe change in weight limitations in this most densely populated region.
