"Through a generous donation by Boiling Springs Savings Bank a state of the art community bulletin board was recently completed on the front lawn of the municipal building," announced Mayor Bernadette P. McPherson. "Last summer we needed to provide emergency notifications to our residents about West Nile Virus spraying programs, and it became apparent that a message board was needed. The trustees of the bank didn't hesitate to assist us by funding the project, and we greatly appreciate their help," Mayor McPherson continued.
"I want to thank Councilman George Fecanin and Mary Melfa, the Borough Purchasing Agent, who worked with me in designing the sign and expediting the project. The sign was constructed by CLN Signs and will be lighted in the near future for evening display," Councilmember Denise Ross added.
"This will give us the opportunity to keep the public aware of a wide variety of events and meetings of importance to the community," Mayor McPherson concluded.
