| RUTHERFORD - The New Jersey Department of Transportation will host a meeting in Rutherford on the proposed Route 3 corridor improvements on November 8, 2001.
“In an effort to continue the citizen involvement in the issues surrounding the proposed improvements to the Route 3 corridor, I requested this meeting to provide the opportunity for additional discussion and input by our residents,” Mayor Bernadette P. McPherson announced. “Although any improvements are still at least three years away, I believe it is important to actively involve our residents at this stage of the process to ensure that their concerns are considered. This meeting and others in the future will allow this to happen,” the Mayor continued.
“To accommodate the residents expected to attend, the meeting will be held at 55 Kip Center, our senior activity center on Kip Avenue. Any resident interested in this issue is invited to attend. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and residents can park in the Kip Avenue Parking Garage. The Kip Center is on the ground floor,” Mayor McPherson concluded.
