Welcome to the Rutherford Recreation Department Web site. We are proud to offer a variety of programs and special events to all the residents of Rutherford. We continually review our services to improve them and start new programs to meet the changing needs of our community. Our goal is to have every single resident either participate in a recreation program or utilize one of our beautiful park facilities. Recreation Director Denise Brennan has announced that in cooperation with RHS Tennis Coach Len Baylor, they are hosting a "Town Tennis Tournament" for Rutherford residents only on the weekend of August 15-17, 2008. You must register with the Recreation Department by August 10th. There will be 3 divisions each for men and women:
Juniors 11-17; open 18-59 and seniors over 60. Call office for more information.
The Rutherford Recreation Code of Conduct Forms may be picked up and signed at the Recreation Department.

Sign up Online! To help make registration fast, easy and convenient the Rutherford Recreation Department is now offering secure, online registration to most recreation programs using CommunityPass. With just a few easy steps, you can now register your family online for recreation programs 24/7 from home, work or anywhere with an internet connection.
Here's how to sign up...
- The Recreation department asks that all residents create their CommunityPass account and save their username & password email notification so that you can easily login & register to Recreation programs in the future.
- Click here to create your CommunityPass account now!
- Registration for fall recreation programs will begin on August 20, 2006. On August 20, you can login in using your username and password to sign up for programs online.
